The Old Mill is situated in the heart of the picturesque Market town of Shipston on stour , just a 10-15 minute drive  south of Stratford upon Avon and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The market town of Shipston on Stour has a selection of individual shops, boutiques and galleries.

Local Walkscycle routes
There are some lovely local walks including the unspoilt local villages of Alderminster Barcheston , Ilmington and Preston on Stour with a traditional village shop and tea gardens There is a fantastic cycle route linking Shipston on Stour and Moreton in the Marsh

Cotswolds
The beautiful nearby Cotswold towns such as Stow on the Wold, bourton on the water, Broadway and Chipping Campden offer some great attractions and stunning scenery.

Stratford upon Avon
Known as Shakespeare’s Country this charming town, bursting with history boasts numerous world famous landmarks such as the renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s House. There is a racecourse for horse racing enthusiasts, boating on the River Avon and crazy golf and street entertainment in the Bancroft Gardens.
